Run like the butterfly

We all know it is bad to manipulate someone into doing something they don’t want to do. Well at least we should know. What you do in your personal time is up to you…

I feel a bit bad that I’m finding these poor characters pain a bit funny?

I mean I really relate to them on a personal level since I myself have been trying to be healthy and I did a heated Pilates challenge this summer. I myself was passed out on the floor more times that I can mention. I can feel their pain but I was the one who put myself through it. These guys got stuck or bribed into physical activity.

I mean at this point I don’t feel as sorry for them, but I relate on a personal level with book guy/prince.

Watching him run as a butterfly out paces him really cracked me up. I’m sorry prince, you need to find a new home for all your books since I’m starting to worry that you might die…

I mean we’ve all been there right? Face challenges that were put in front of us that we had no control over. I get that what Haiji is doing is pretty sh**** but as the prince is forced out of his comfort zone he is doing his best and not giving up.

We don’t know why this poor boy was added to the team. He is in the worse shape and there is no way that he will help his team win in any way. Although Haiji seems strangely confident in the prince. I want to see what is hidden inside and see the prince grow past this challenge.

As long as he is still alive in the end.

Like I said I can really relate to his struggle. Maybe I’m taking this sports anime too personal but I want prince to succeed with running. I want him to accomplish something that he never thought was possible. I mean isn’t that what life is? Meeting the challenge and coming out on top?

You got this Prince! I will be right behind you!

Happy watching!

  1. Well, I just said over on Karandi’s blog that with the Attack on Titan hiatus until next year, I have an open slot on my seasonal anime. So…I might start watching this one (even though I really usually hate sports anime..or anything with the word sports in it in general πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚).

    1. Oh man I can relate haha I didn’t watch sports anime until I starting watching Haikyuu!! as a joke. The joke was on me as it took me on an emotional roller coaster and I cried over volleyball haha.
Now I tend to find that the sports part is really just a side vehicle to deal with issues of lose, friendship, improvement, and self doubt (to name a few). I hope you do try it! So far I’m really enjoying it and like other sports anime I hope this delves even deeper into these characters.

      1. I’ve so far watched two sports anime: One was Yuri on Ice….everyone was talking about it, and I just had to watch it (I’m glad I did because I really ended up enjoying it very much), the other is one I haven’t finished yet: Hanebado! And…honestly, it also was very good so far. So…maybe my tastes are changing lol.
If I do pick this one up, I will let you know what I think of it.
Also: you are definitely right in saying that. It really is usually a side vehicle as there is more to it than just the sport! 😊😊

      2. I fell ya lol I really hate running but I’m finding these characters worth it. I hope you do and I will be interested to see if that makes you pick up even more sports anime.

  2. Honestly, I have no idea how they think Prince is every going to get to a point where he might help them qualify and part of me is probably going to disbelieve it when it inevitably happens, but he was fantastic in this episode. I still think they should all be looking for new accommodation but in the meantime, the Prince stumbling down the road before face-planting at the river is just priceless. The lengths some people go to for their books.

    1. Yeah, I cracked up at the poor guy way too many times. I had to keep back tracking to take the screen shots… They were just too priceless.
If he does get better they better make it believable like you said… I don’t know how they are going to do it.
